These past couple of weeks, it is no secret that Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is a certified animal lover. From his plans to improve the condition of the Manila Zoo, Domagoso now looks at ways on improving the lives of stray cats and dogs in the city.
On Friday, Domagoso met with hero dog “Kabang,” who was hailed as the ambassador of dogwill by Zamboanga City after he lost his upper snout after saving two children from a motor crash back in 2013.
“Personal na mahilig ako sa aso,” ABS-CBN News quoted Domagoso, noting that he once had his own beagle.
During the meeting, Domagoso claimed he would consider a “libre kapon” program for the stray cats and dogs in the city to help in controlling their population growth.
