Dogs really are very clever dogs. In the case of this stray animal on the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, he acts like he has an injury to get food from the locals and tourists.
Thaweeporn Chongplapolkul, a resident of the area, filmed the remarkable performance of the dog.
“This old dog has lived (at) my workplace for a few years. He always does this trick to deceive people,” Chongplapolkul told Daily Mail in an interview, as the performance of the dog is truly remarkable and convincing!
Known as Gae, the dog drags his hind leg as though he is paralyzed or has a broken leg in the video. I mean, when you watch it, wouldn’t you also be moved to tears and feel sorry for the poor stray animal? He knows that he’s great at acting as many people truly give him food wherever he goes!
A simple trick to know whether he’s actually injured or not? Locals say call his name, because once you do, his tail will surely wag and fake leg injury no more because he will start jumping at you.
“He’s an old dog, and we’ve checked both of his legs. They are both fine!” said Chongplapolkul.
