Fashion icon and celebrity Heart Evangelista joined the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in rescuing animals that have been affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.
“Don’t worry little one, we’re all doing what we can to give all of you the love and care you need during this time,” Evangelista, also PAWS’ spokesperson, wrote in an Instagram post.
She also posted another photo that showed her with another dog and with director Rich Ilustre. Evangelista said she is thankful to be by Ilustre’s side in making the world a better place for the animals.
“It only takes a single step to start a journey and I’m glad to be taking that journey with PAWS and with you,” Ilustre replied to her in a comment. “Even with all the challenges that we encounter, we move forward because the animals need us.”
