Get to know the initiative of organizing the first grand assembly of the Bulacan Hamster Owners Society.
The Bulacan Hamster Owners Society (BHOS) recently held its first grand assembly in Pulilan, Bulacan with the support of the Philippine Hamster Owners Society (PHOS). It aimed to give its increasing membership a venue to meet up with fellow keepers in the area during the event; a few came from other areas such as Metro Manila.
Speakers from PHOS included its president Juan dela Cruz, vice president Dhoy Chiu, and admin Jay Rojo; they shared their knowledge about ‘basic hamster care with those present. Participants enjoyed a hamster race, hamster show, and a raffle.
The BHOS was founded in April 2015 by Nestor Perez and was aimed at giving hamster owners who resided in Bulacan a supportive group where they could buy and sell hamsters, ask questions, and share information about their pets. (With reporting by Mary Glo Joy Ang)
