To support the needs of animals abandoned after the wrath brought about by typhoon Ulysses last week, many people – including artists, are organizing fundraising events to help.
Genesis Alcantara is offering a 50% discount on his digital art, with all donations going to their beneficiary, San Mateo pound.
San Mateo pound saw their shelter submerged in flood, and people placed all animals on the roof. The rescuers were able to save about 70 dogs, but now, they need food to survive the following days.
“In partnership with Hello Paws, we’ll be sending dog and cat foods to the pound,” Alcantara said in his post. “Any amount, even small would be very much appreciated.”
