Every morning, an adorable Golden Retriever puppy waits patiently for his hooman’s children to board the school bus.
Melissa Nixon from Amherst, New York, took a video of her four-month-old pup named Bentley, who waits on their driveway as her children boarded the school bus.
The 33-year-old is a mother of five, and she said Bentley takes his duty of walking her children to the school bus “very seriously.”
In the video she posted on her social media platform, Nixon’s six-year-old Kylie and five-year-old McKenna could be seen waiting at the end of the driveway for the school bus, while Bentley sits on the center of the driveway looking at the two girls.
“The funny thing is that with him being energetic and playful, he takes his job of walking the kids to the bus very seriously,” Nixon told Daily Star in an interview. “The bus driver and monitor say ‘hi’ to him every morning and he sits very strong and still until he makes sure the kids are safe and then he turns back into his goofy self.
