Jose Enrico V. Libunao shared a photo of a dog looking over a window of a fast food restaurant who looks like he’s waiting for someone in a now-viral Facebook post.
“Palagay ko ito talaga yung Kwentong Jollibee na magpapatulo sa luha ko,” he wrote on March 13.
Libunao said he spoke with locals in Alona, Panglao in Bohol. He learned that the dog’s name is Chubby and used to go to that Jollibee branch with his previous owner.
“He does this because his hooman used to frequent Jollibee when they were still together (hooman is in Manila now) and Chubby would wait for him outside the store everytime. Now that he’s gone, he still does this out of habit,” he wrote.
According to him, someone does take care of Chubby.
“He just misses his hooman so badly,” he added.
