Messi, the Border Collie star from the movie “Anatomy of a Fall,” graced the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival in France. Photographers greeted Messi at the steps of Palais des Festivals while he went up the stairs, sat up, and raised his front paws as if to wave at the audience.
“Anatomy of a Fall” premiered at the festival last year where it won the prestigious Palm d’Or award. Messi won the Palm Dog, a special prize made by journalists for the festival’s top Dog.
Aside from Cannes, Messi also attended the Oscars earlier this year. He was not supposed to show up, but due to popular demand, he was happy to do everyone a favor.
