After a video of animal abuse involving their students went viral, one high school released a statement. Benigno S. Aquino National High School (BSANHS) addressed the controversy on their Facebook page. In their statement, they identified the students as coming from grades 7 and 10. The individual who posted the video was their graduate.
CONDEMING ANIMAL CRUELTY
BSANHS strongly condemned the actions of the involved students, and advisers have already contacted their parents to provide appropriate counseling and guidance. The school also said that they “encourage everyone to practice kindness, responsibility, and humane treatment of animals, both online and offline.”

TRIGGER WARNING
The viral video shows children abusing a pregnant Cat by putting her in a sack and mistreating her. Concerned netizens who knew the kids tagged their high school, as well as PAWS to report violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
