Maisie Green, an 89-year-old dog lover, has knitted about 450 coats and blankets for dogs at Dogs Trust, a local shelter in the United Kingdom.

Green has hand-knitted all the sweaters and blankets for the Dogs Trust, a charity organization and shelter that finds stray dogs a home, in years and continues to do so these days. She said one sweater takes her three days to make, and it’s all worth it.

“It keeps me busy and I often like to knit whilst I watch television,” Green told Tin Canada. “I’m delighted to be helping the four-legged residents of the centre in some way.”

This grandma is only one of the many volunteers at the shelter who regularly helps the dogs. Dogs Trust currently caters 1,400 homeless dogs.
