We all have that one favorite reporter, but no one can beat this new traffic reporter in town that has become viral in just a few hours.
A seagull instantly became famous after taking up a perch that got him on the traffic camera above London’s Brunswick Road, which was set up by Transport for London (TfL).
“[Transport for London is] a local government organization responsible for most aspects of London’s transport system,” according to their website.
TfL shared the video of the photogenic reporter on their Twitter account during its first appearance on Monday, and netizens were all for it. The tweet received 665 retweets, and 2,400 likes instantly!
Due to public demand, the traffic reporter came back the next day and TfL tweeted a photo of the bird again with the caption: “Due to popular demand, a quick update from our reporter just north of the Blackwall Tunnel…..”
To be honest though, no one is more suited for the job than a bird that can see everything.
