Known for her very extravagant lifestyle, and over-the-top “crazy rich Asian” persona, Heart Evangelista proves there’s more to her than being a style guru and celebrity. Unbeknownst to some, she is also one of the biggest celebrity animal lovers in the country.
Heart plans to make her dream into a reality as she now takes things to the next level by building her own animal sanctuary in Sorsogon.
“As you all know, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and it’s a dream of mine to be able to do more to champion their welfare,” Heart posted on her Instagram account. “This is a step one and I am already brimming with excitement for this special project and I can’t wait to finally turn this dream into reality!”
Heart has always loved animals and even adopted Panda, an AsPin or Asong Pinoy. At the same time, she also collaborated with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) for a campaign that battles discrimination against aspins, entitled “Have a Heart for Aspins” that took place last year.
