With their love for the four-legged furries, power couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla recently donated 10 animal cages to the Manila City Pound, according to a Facebook post by the Manila Public Information Office.
This comes after newly elected Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso visited and inspected the pound.
“Mayor Domagoso expresses his gratitude to Ms. Bernardo and Mr. Padilla for the donation,” the post says along with a photo of the donated cages.
Bernardo and Padilla, well known as young stars on-screen, are also pet lovers. Bernardo has a golden retriever named Cloud, Pablo a teacup Pomeranian, Samoyed Tala, and Snow the bichon frise that Padilla gave her when she turned 18. Just last month, Bernardo shared a picture of her fur-st ever cat, Chloe.
Both of them post pictures of their lovely fur-babies in their Instagram account with the username @bernardogcath.
Bernardo is also known as a member and active supporter of CARA Welfare Philippines, which is a non-profit organization that advocates responsible ownership of animals.
