Who will be crowned winner of the Battle of the Champions? Get ready for the ultimate showdown of skills and poise as highly trained dogs take the spotlight on the anticipated Manila Dog Show this year!

The Philippine Pomeranian Club Inc., in collaboration with Manila Bulletin and Animal Scene, presents the third Manila Dog Show, taking place on July 12-13, 2025 at The Manila Hotel Tent City.

The prestigious competition not only showcases the charm and poise of excellent dog breeds but also brings together dog enthusiasts, pet owners, brand partners, and expert handlers in one unforgettable event. It serves as an ideal platform to highlight dog excellence and gain insights from international experts in the field of dogmanship.

What happened last year

In its previous editions, the Manila Dog Show recognized outstanding entries across various breeds—from Pomeranians, Beagles, and Corgis to Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, and Bull Terriers.

Last year, the event featured four All Breed Championship Dog Shows where dogs of all breeds had the chance to flaunt and display their charm and elegance. It also dedicated a segment for Pomeranian lovers through the Pomeranian Specialty Shows consisting of eight shows, and a special highlight for all the dog winners — the Battle of the Champions.

The top winners from the Best in Pomeranian Specialty Show and All Breed Shows impress the roster of distinguished judges from Japan, Brazil, Australia, and the USA.

What’s in store this year

Now in its third year, the Manila Dog Show returns bigger than ever, featuring four All Breed Dog Shows, eight Pomeranian Specialty Shows, and the much-anticipated Battle of the Champions.

The standout winner of the Battle of the Champions will take home an exciting grand prize: a free Economy round trip ticket to the 2026 World Dog Show in Italy, happening from June 3 to 7, 2026.

The esteemed line-up includes experts from different countries such as Renee Fourie (Xantah), Shharat Sharma and Mukul Vaid (Silver Clouds) from India, and Philippines’ Orlino Hosaka who will be judging for the All Breed Shows.

Also joining them for the Specialty Shows are USA’s Fabian Arienti (Starfire), USA’s Sharon Masnick (Golden Aires) , Norway’s Camilla Kristoffersen (Tiny Fellow), and Japan’s Toshinori Omura (Smash).
