After more than 20 years of waiting, the Los Angeles Zoo announced on Instagram their first baby girl gorilla!

The gorilla, which is yet to be named, is the first baby girl gorilla born at the zoo. Her 25-year-old western lowland gorilla mother, N’djia, is doing well after giving birth just last month.
