Dressed in nothing but a torn pair of pants, an elderly beggar could not help it but give his only food to two stray dogs, as shown in a video that has gone viral in India.
Indian Forest Services (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda shared the clip on Twitter with the caption: “Poor by wealth. Richest by heart.”
The video shows the old man, visibly weak, as he tried to walk towards the two stray dogs and feed them his remaining food. He then sat beside them as they eat.
“With compassion he feeds the dog while suffering [from] extreme malnourishment. What is the situation where he is at that he has been left to suffer like that?” commented one Twitter user @DebbieNester1.
