Brodie was left partially blind and with a permanently disfigured face after his mother attacked him at just the age of 13-days-old.
The adorable pup suffered severe cranial and facial injuries. He grew up with his jaw fused together, which caused him partial blindness. Because of this, his previous owner returned him to the Old MacDonald Kennels in Alberta, Canada, noting that he was “too hyper” for him.
Luckily, Brodie found his new home. Amanda Richter and her boyfriend Brad Ames adopted Brodie, and they have been giving him only the best care he needed.
“He’s definitely hyper, but he is so intelligent. His brain is perfectly fine and he learns tricks within 10 minutes, usually which tells me he is a smart boy,” Amanda told Metro.
Now, Brodie is living his best life. He even gained popularity on Instagram with over 159K followers, Brodie is also training to become a therapy dog. “We hope to train him to be a therapy dog one day so he can help other people with disabilities,” Amanda added.
