Have you ever dreamt of saving the environment and caring for community animals? In Turkey, doing both is possible!

One company made it their mission to feed community Dogs by recycling bottles. Here’s how that happened.

VENDING MACHINE FOR COMMUNITY DOGS

According to a report by HuffPost, The Turkish company Pugedon created a vending machine called the Pugedon Smart Recycling Boxes, which releases food and water for Istanbul’s community Dogs in exchange for recycled plastic bottles.

The process is simple: All you need is a plastic bottle. The bottle is pushed into the machine, in turn dispensing kibble for the Dogs.

The amount of food depends on the kind of plastic bottle.

IT COSTS NOTHING TO BE KIND

According to Pugedon, the recycled bottles will cover the Dogs’ food expenses, and the city will bear no costs.

Ultimately, the company wants to give community animals a brighter future while encouraging people to recycle.
