“Dream”, a 2016 animation that has been created for the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival by Zombie Studio, is currently making the rounds again on the internet, because of its powerful and heartbreaking message that is suitable in today’s decline in wildlife population.

The short animation film features four critically endangered animals – a blue whale, a brown pelican, a baby harp seal and a rhinoceros, who sing “I Dreamed a Dream” from the Les Miserables soundtrack.

Through the song, each animals facing extinction tells their story in a heartbreaking way. The film starts off with each of them enjoying a day in their respective habitats, until the poachers and hunters kill them slowly and destroy their homes.

Singers Natalie Bergman, Ryan Merchant, Keenan O’Meara, and Tal Altman voiced the animals.
