When we thought we have seen it all, people just kept surprising us. Most animal shelters find dropped off animals in crates, leashes, or other types of animal carriers. But a shelter in Riverside County received something different.
Riverside County Department of Animal Services said a cute dog was dropped off at one of the shelters. He was almost entirely inside a Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries cereal box.
They added that the puppy inside the cereal box has to be “one of the oddest ways a pet came to us as an over-the-counter dropoff.”
“We handled all its fleas and now we hope an owner arrives,” they wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, including the adorable photo of the dog.
