A herd of 14 elephants was looking for food in Yunnan, China when they came upon a village filled with what they were looking for and a whole lot of “drinks” for the gentle giants.
IPS Officer HGS Dhalinal narrated on a Twitter post that the elephants managed to break into the village and eat a whole lot of corn and other foods they found. Next thing they knew, the elephants ended up consuming about 30 kilograms of corn whisky, leaving all of them drunk.
“Two of the male elephants got completely drunk, and made themselves a pair of cutest internet sensations in China,” said Dhalinal.
Many netizens said the elephants were so “cute ans adorable” while there were others who also pointed out concern whether they would be alright.
