Just like some retired humans, working doggos also gain some weight over retirement. For this Labrador, he clearly gained weight and it showed in a hilarious clip that went viral recently.
Three-year-old Zhuang Zhuang served as a police dog in the Changping district of Beijing. He had since been retired, and now, enjoys his days frolicking with his human. However, he must have enjoyed his retirement too much that he gained up to 45 kilograms after quitting the force.
Zhuang Zhuang was at the park for a photo session, but he got too tired after a while and looked for a place to rest. He jumped on a park bench, slipped, and unfortunately, got stuck in between.
“All the other dog owners nearby rushed over to help him. We tried so many ways and finally dragged him out of the bench,” the owner told The Daily Mail in an interview.
The owner added that it took about six people to rescue Zhuang Zhuang from being stuck in the bench, which took about 10 minutes.
The owner said they are trying to feed the dog less to help him be healthier.
