What’s so fur-nny? Hundreds of wildlife photographers joined in this year’s Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards and we cannot help not to share some of the finalists’ meme-worthy photos!
The collection of wildlife photos showcases some of the funny moments captured in nature. Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is a photography competition that specializes in sharing hilarious wildlife photos.
Founded by professional photographers and conservationists Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks, the competition is now on its fifth year and continues to highlight the importance of wildlife conservation through exhibiting wildlife in a positive way.
Though the competition is all about the not-so-serious side of wildlife, Sullam and Joynson-Hicks reiterates the serious side of the competition. Aside from showing funny photographs, conservationists also share tips on how to be a “conservationist at home” as part of its main advocacy of protecting wildlife.
“Our planet is in distress, we all know that, now we just need to know what to do,” they said. “Hopefully, we can provide a few small tips to get people started.”
Winners of the competition will be announced on November 13. The overall winner will receive an incredible one-week safari with Alex Walker’s Serian in the Masai Mara, Kenya, and will be awarded a unique handmade trophy from the Art Garage in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
