In October 2022, SM Grand Central celebrated World Animal Day with a total of 86 Dogs and Cats in attendance.
BLESS THE ANIMALS
The event started off with a blessing led by Chapel of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, with 53 animal companions blessed by the priest in charge.
The celebration continued with a free consultation and check-up by Noah’s Ark Pet and Wellness Center. Twenty-five lucky animals also received free rabies vaccines.
FREEBIES GALORE
Human guardians had their photos taken by a professional photographer, with printing free of charge. They also received free Dog and Cat treats, not to mention magazines from Animal Scene.
ESPECIALLY FOR ANIMAL COMPANIONS
SM Grand Central, a relatively new mall, provides safe spaces
for companion animals by hosting animal observances and celebrations that encourage mall-goers to bring their beloved animals with them to the mall. There is a designated place to hang out with animals called the Paw Park, located on the fourth floor.
