Life during the pandemic has been extremely hard for many, especially for health workers who are on the frontlines. In one hospital, however, a stray dog outside has eased their burdens from time to time as he made friends with them. Because of his loving personality, the hospital decided to officially adopt him.

Often called Brownie because of his brown color, the stray dog has now been named Medikal.

The Board of Directors of the Iligan Medical Center Hospital has decided to adopt him and make him their official “hospital guard dog.” He was seen loitering around the hospital, and had since made friends with a lot of frontliners.
