More and more people are being invested in keeping their animal companions’ lives a living dream, which is why a lot of companies have been working on creating animal-friendly and pet-friendly designs suited for the fur-riest animal.

Japan’s Okawa Kagu, a company that makes furniture, designed a super chic collection for cats.

Entitled “craftsman MADE,” the campaign is intended to invigorate the once-prosperous craft industry of Fukuoka, a city in Japan that is home to about 150 furniture-manufacturing factories.

Okawa Kagu was the person who came up with the idea to “merge the internet’s love for cats with the skills of the local artisans,” according to a report by mymodernmet.com.

The full-scale designs of furniture were down-sized (or may we say, cat-sized?) to produce a high-quality miniature version for felines.

The furniture collection highlights pine wood sofa that was designed and produced by Hiromatsu Furniture and Tateno Mokuzai’s dark wood cat bed.

The pieces can be viewed at Okawa Terrazza, which is an information center that focuses on local designs.
