Amid the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak, Heart Evangelista shared a photo of her adopted aspin Panda wearing a mask on Twitter on Saturday with the caption “Kaya natin toh (heart emoji).”

Earlier this month, a pet Pomeranian dog in Hong Kong tested “weak positive” for the virus. It could be the first case of human-to-animal transmission, but experts urged pet owners not to panic because the case has still been under investigation.

Evangelista is currently an animal welfare advocate at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), where she volunteered to rescue animals affected by the Taal volcano eruption earlier this year.
