Despite the booming industry of tea business among Asian countries, it is no secret that a tea bag’s traditional design has not changed a single bit for many years.
This is why a company in Japan lived up to the task to change that.
Ocean Teabag, a company that has just started three years ago in Japan, has teamed up with oddity shop and bookstore Village Vanguard to create the animal-themed design of the teabags. Ocean Teabag first created a dolphin-designed tea bag when it eventually became a hit, thus why they added more designs.
Currently, there are over 50 types of unique tea bags with its own unique tea flavor that you can buy from their online shop for 1,820 yen or $16.
Their squid-shaped teabag is one of their most popular designs. It contains a black Pu’er tea, which resembles the squid’s ink when sunk in hot water. Their octopus-shaped teabag is filled with Keemun tea, while their penguin-shaped teabag has Chamomile.
