The Philippine Animal Rescue Team’s sanctuary located in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan is one of the many shelters struck hard by typhoon Ulysses.

They have about 650 furkids in their care, but the typhoon left the shelter with several damages that need fixing.

“We finally received updates on the damages in the sanctuary. All homes of the furkids have roof damages, from our main Phoenix building to catteries and farm animals housing. One of our structures where we keep some of our supplies was also completely destroyed,” the non-profit organization shared on their Facebook page.

“Please give our core volunteers time to rebuild as we also care for hundreds of animals in the sanctuary and also need to check on the status of all the homeless strays we feed,” they added.
