For four times, a dog with a deformed head was sent back to the shelter. Nobody seems to like him. No one wanted to care for a sick dog, especially not an ugly one. But that was not until a young man with a heart of gold came and changed his life.
A woman named Griselda recently rescued the pup from the shelter, who they say, was returned there for, not once, not twice, but four times! She wanted to provide the pup a good life, but she can’t take care of the animal herself, so she found a young man who was willing to adopt the pup.
Luciano Karosas is a 21-year old man from Berazategui, Argentina. He adopted the dog who had multiple tumors on his head, thus the deformity, and has an advanced cancer.
Veterinarians told Karosas that his new animal companion only has 40 days left to live.
“I found it difficult to accept how little time we had together. I took him to a veterinarian who works with stem cells to see what we could do, looking for a little more home (which had given him 40 days of life) and told me that there is no treatment that can extend his time,” Karosas told local media. “I came out with a piece of my heart in my hands.”
With only 40 days together, Karosas makes every single time memorable.
“All I want is to try and give him some love before he leaves,” he says.
