Belle, a pygmy goat, went missing from a farm in Greenfield, Saddleworth.
Her owner, 49-year old Julie Swindell, assumed Belle was stolen earlier in the morning, because their farm gate was open and its electric wires had been turned off.
However, commuters on a train stop bound for Manchester were startled to see a goat waiting behind the yellow line, just like they do.
Louise Fields, an animal rescuer from the Dogs 4 Rescue, went to the train station, after receiving a call from another one of their organization’s members. It is believed that the station was 25 miles away from their Swindell’s and Belle’s home.
Swindell was later on reunited with Belle.
