New York City’s Metropolitan Transit Authority is dog-friendly, but of course, just like any other public transportation, they still have rules.
Emotional support and therapy animals are allowed to ride with their human companions with no other restrictions, but other pets must be placed in a carrier or a bag.
It’s not a big deal for small dogs. Their owners can fit them anywhere, like purses and bags. But, for the bigger dogs? Well, that’s tricky.
Some owners with large dogs may have given up hope to travel with their furry companions on the subway, but others have gotten extra creative!
With the rule stating: “No person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container,” it does not exactly mention how big the carrier may be. So, dog lovers designed and made their largest bags the most impressive dog carrier you’ll see on the subway!
