It seems like someone lied about the weight limit. A photo by the restaurant Balay Dako, circulating on Facebook after being allegedly scrubbed by the restaurant, contains a size chart for canine companions.
The graphic shows a list of small, medium, and large Dogs, and their corresponding weight ranges. The expected weight under the “medium” column is 11 to 26 kilograms.
Lara L. Antonio posted her frustration on Facebook about how her Aspin, Yoda, was denied entry into the restaurant, because the staff told her that the Dog went over their 15-kilogram weight limit for medium Dogs.
Where is the Aspin?
Aside from weights, the graphic also listed breeds under each size category. The “medium” column mentioned Beagles, Corgis, and Labradoodles.
The size chart was allegedly removed from Balay Dako’s Facebook page. Netizens also noticed that their old social media posts featuring animal companions were deleted.
As of this writing, the restaurant has not responded to requests for a statement.
