Last February, news broke out that an eight-year old girl fell into a panda enclosure in China.
The girl fell to the bottom of the enclosure, which was about six and a half feet below the visitor’s viewing area, according to a report by The Huffington Post. Luckily, the girl was pulled up by some guards and visitors by lowering a bamboo rod for her to grab and escaped with no serious injuries.
The pandas at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan province in China, just like their visitors, just stood there and watch.
They seem to be pretty cool and chill about the incident, but administrators from the research center placed signs that warn guests to practice safety precaution and stay back from the animals, according to The Huffington Post.
The little girl was then taken to a nearby hospital after the incident.
