Who do we love? Pets!
Most pet owners nowadays consider their pooches and felines as part of the family. But, further studies already show how much pets mean more than an average family member.
As the Valentine’s Day approaches, the National Retail Federation (NRF) recently conducted a study on pet owners before the lovely celebration.
They found that 27 percent of people are looking at buying a Valentine’s Day gift for their pets, which could total to approximately $1.7 billion in spending. Acccording to survey history, the record’s increased by 17 percent since 2010.
“Husbands and wives don’t need to be worried if their spouses are buying a Valentine’s gift for someone else – most likely it’s… a treat for the family dog,” Prosper Insight Executive vice president of Strategy Phil Rist told NRF.
