On July 27, farm owner Mara Dayanara Legario shared on a Facebook post the birth of their piglets that appeared to have a snake-colored skin at Barangay Alugmawa, Lambunao, Iloilo.
“So nung nakita ko ang pigs, yung initial reaction ko was oh my God, mukha talagang snake-skinned so I immediately took photos and videos which I uploaded on Facebook,” Legario told ABS-CBN News.
According to her, the piglets are all active and healthy, and they plan to breed the pigs.
“Palalakihin namin and gagawin naming head siya for the next generation, gagawin naming palahian,” said Legario.
She added that she wanted to share the birth of their piglets to remind everyone that all animals, not just domesticated animals such as dogs and cats, also need the attention and love from humans.
“I have probably developed the ‘so-called attachement’ sa mga baboy, kasi I have been assisting my mom since elementary,” she said.
