In a report by Coconuts Manila, a sea turtle that has reportedly pooped out plastic bags was found dead in the Valladolid town in Negros Occidental yesterday.
Resident Arnel Emplamado discovered the poor reptile on the coastal lines of Purok Daisy, Barangay Poblacion, Village. Village captain Bill Kratzer told Coconuts Manila that the reptile looked a bit damaged, especially along its tail part.
The sea turtle measured around 2 ft. in width and 3 ft. in length.
Residents claim they saw plastic bags coming out of its rectum, but official autopsy report are yet to be disclosed.
As per the advice of the town’s Municipal Agriculture Office, the turtle was buried near the coastal so as not to affect the health of the other residents.
