The 2017 edition of the Philippine Circuit Show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum required over eight months
of preparation and organization, and surpassed the 2016 edition in pomp and pageantry.

Over 350 participants, of which more than half came from foreign countries, helped this edition outclass last year’s show in all aspects. Not only was the quality of entries higher, the dog owners, judges, and handlers who participated were some of the best in the world.

There were twelve all-breed championship dog shows, featuring four FCI CACIBs (with one Crufts 2018
Qualifier); four Asia Pacific Champion shows; and four South East Asia Champion shows (with one Philippine
winner 2017)

Judges were FCI president Rafael de Santiago and Roberto Velez Pico of Puerto Rico; Miguel Angel Martinez of Argentina; Michael Camac, Guy Spagnolo, and Jacqueline Weekes of Australia; Michael Forte of Ireland; Francesco Cochetti and Claudio di Giulani of Italy; Jose Luis Payro and Juan Luis Martinez of Mexico; Rony Doedijns of the Netherlands; Carla Molinari of Portugal; and Edd Bivin, Desmond Murphy, and Bill Shelton of the USA.
