Police officers shot two Bulldogs named Millions and Marshall in London on May 7. A video posted on Twitter showed the confrontation involving the police, a man named Louie Turnbull, and his Dogs. In a report by the Daily Mail, the police were in a heated argument with the man as he attempted to calm his barking Dogs.

The situation turned for the worse when one of the Bulldogs was shot dead, which was followed by Turnbull being tasered. The second Dog was shot shortly after.  A statement released by the police shortly after the incident claimed that the Dogs were “out of control” and “the aggressive behavior of [the] two [D]ogs… posed a significant threat to them.”

The incident happened because a Dog was allegedly attacking one woman and was thus reported to the police. According to reports, the woman said that she did not want authorities to be involved.
