Aside from being known for her monochrome outfits, Queen Elizabeth II is famous for her royal corgis. Her Majesty loves dogs, and corgis in particular have a very special place in her heart. She had her first-ever corgi, Susan, on her 18th birthday, and for decades, she had one dog from Susan’s lineage. Sadly, the final corgi in Susan’s line, Willow, passed away in 2018.
Her dachshund-corgi mix, Vulcan, then passed in 2020. Now, she is left with her last remaining dog, Candy.
But, The Sun reported the royal family welcomed two new four-legged members earlier this month.
According to the report, the first pup is a dorgi and has been named Fergus for Her Majesty’s uncle named Fergus Bowes-Lyon who was killed in action during World War I. The second is named Muick (pronounced Mick) after Loch Muick on the Queen’s beloved Balmoral estate in Scotland where she and her family spend their summer holidays.
