A pet parent’s worst nightmare is losing their animal companion. For pet owners in Valenzuela City, that would no longer be a problem.
The city government has offered a free microchip implant program for dogs on Saturday at Barangay Canumay West and Rincon. A microchip can serve as identification for missing pets.
The microchip is as small as a rice grain that carries a unique identification for each companion. The City Veterinary Services Office can scan the microchip and immediately transmit contact details of the pet’s owner.
