Humans, here’s the thing: Once you open your homes to animals, they will feel happy, grateful, and thankful. So in return, they will love you and be loyal to you every step of the way.
If you think you cannot open your homes and your hearts to them until you or they die, then maybe do not let them in, in the first place. Because once you decide that you’re actually not ready for the responsibility of having one, guess who will be affected greatly? It’s not you. It’s them.
Just like this dog caught on camera, running after its owner, who abandoned him at the side of a long stretch of an empty road.
The video shows an unidentified man leaving his black dog by the road in Lake Ming in Bakersfield, California. It looks like the dog thought his hooman was playing with him, but when the man tried to walk back to his car, the dog refused to leave his side and kept on clinging to him.
The footage, which was recorded by Stephen Sage Silver who was sitting in another car, sparked outrage from netizens.
Silver can be heard in the video saying, “hell no, that’s your dog man. That’s f**ked up. This guy is dumping his dog right here.” He added that the man abandoning his dog tried to get into a physical altercation with him and even drove of yelling “It’s your dog, not mine.”
Kern County Animal Services picked up the dog and is now being cared for in the shelter, while they try to investigate the incident.
