A woman was walking her dog in the morning along the woodlands when she found a pregnant cat along with two others discarded in a cardboard box.
The woman immediately took the three cats with her and went to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) center to get checked. The medical checkup showed one of the cats was pregnant.
“It must have been very frightening for them to have been left this way. We understand that people’s circumstances change, but there’s never an excuse to abandon animals like this,” Kirsten Ormerod from RSPCA told Bored Panda in an interview.
In a recent Facebook post, RSPCA shared that they named the pregnant cat Maude, and that she gave birth to two healthy kittens. The organization also found the family their new fur-ever home!
