You can now bring your animal companions with you on vacation to different Philippine destinations, thanks to Philippine Airlines.
PAL announced a new in-flight experience, FurPal, that allows you to bring your pet Dog on board the plane in a secure carrier placed under the seat on your flight to Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao. Previously, you could bring your animal companion as check-in baggage.
How to book
All you have to do is book your flight, then click on FurPAL on the Travel Boost page to include your Dog. One-way tickets start at PHP 2,500.
Requirements
The pet carrier should be soft-sided, fully enclosed, leakproof, have a solid base, include a pee pad, and have at least two ventilation panels that can be securely closed with zippers or velcro.
It should also fit under the seat and be free from strong odors, damage, or contamination.
Limitations
PAL announced that the program is for small Dogs with a maximum weight of 10 kilograms, but the service will also be available to Cats soon.
