A lot of people claim to be pet lovers, but not all of them stay with their animal companions until their senior years. Some owners simply abandon them or turn them over to shelters.

Luckily, a woman by the name of Nicole Coyle saw the need to provide a home for the abandoned senior dogs, where they could spend their remaining days.

Coyle opened a hospice called The Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice. They do not just accept senior dogs, but also the terminally ill with less than six months left to live.

Along with volunteers, Coyle does all she can to provide only the best care they could offer the dogs so they could have the best days ahead of them.
