We could never replace Tardar Sauce, also known as Grumpy Cat. But, another lovely feline has taken the internet by storm after showing another grouchy face.
Louis, a six-year-old Persian cat, has a furrowed-looking brow and wide open eyes that make him look like he’s just grumpy all the time. This cat with ginger and white fur is currently living in Austin, Texas.
Though he looks like he’s mad at almost everyone, his owner, Michelle, said that he is actually a happy cat. However, Michelle noted how Louis have a love-hate relationship with her other cat, Monae.
“When we got Monae, she was a baby and Louis was a full grown cat, and yet she bullied him for two months straight,” Michelle said, according to the Metro. “She even tackles and picks at him, but she really loves him.”
Because of Louis’ rare facial appearance, Michelle said a lot of people actually asked whether Louis does not have any disorder that could cause his grumpy face.
“Louis is a full breed Persian, but people often ask if he has a genetic disorder because they think his facial features are an exception, but he is completely normal,” she added.
“People usually react saying he looks like a human old man! They love his big ‘marble eyes’ that he squints often,” Michelle shared. “Louis is not referred to as the ‘new Grumpy Cat,’ but he is actually very sweet, happy and playful. He loves to snuggle and give head rubs, he will chase lasers and play with toys.”
