Meet the Valais Blacknose sheep (Walliser Schwarznasenschaf), a breed of domestic sheep that originate in the Valais region of Switzerland.
These sheep were documented as far as the fifteenth century and were officially recognized as a unique species starting in the 1960s.
They are known for their black faces, ears and long spiral horns. They also have black patches on their knees, hocks and feet.
The Valais Blacknose sheep can be really great companion animals because they are extremely friendly and show so much love to humans.
