Pasig City’s retired K9’s are up for adoption, according to a Facebook post by Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Interested individuals will have to download and fill out the application form through this link: K9 adoption and submit it to [email protected] with the subject: K9 Dog Adoption_Last Name (ex. K9 Dog Adoption_dela Cruz).
Along with the filled out form, applicants must also submit the additional requirements: Two (2) valid government-issued IDs, latest income tax return, referral from a private vet practitioner, latest vet records of pets at home (if you have any), and a picture of space for housing (minimum lot area is 200sqm).
Last August 26, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto also posted six of their retired dogs on his Facebook page, five of which were Belgian Malinois, and one Labrador-Belgian mix.
There are so many benefits of having a dog, including helping you improve your physical and mental health! They can also accompany you at home and keep you busy, especially now amid the pandemic. They will always be there to make you laugh after a hard day and offer his paw to let you know he will always be there for you. So, don’t let this opportunity pass and adopt a dog now!
