A staff at a Hyundai Prime dealership in Brazil first spotted a stray dog hanging around outside their establishment. At first, he thought the dog was simply lurking around, but soon, he and the others noticed the dog was after all, determined to stay.
The dealership decided to adopt and hire the dog, and gave him his own ID card and badge. They also named their new fur-mily, Tucson Prime.
Tuscon Prime was adopted in May, but only found fame on the internet earlier this year after the official handle of Hyundai Brazil shared images of their “pawfessional consultant” on their Instagram account.
The company said their initial plan was to simply give the dog refuge, but his ability to socialize and interact with the customers earned him a promotion.
Showroom manager Emerson Mariano told media outlet Top Motors Brazil that the environment in their organization certainly improved thanks to Tucson Prime’s “very caring and docile nature,” and that they have been geeting a lot of positive feedbacks.
Mariano made the decision to adopt Tucson Prime when he saw the dog outside as it rained. He said he felt so sorry, so he took in the dog and offered him food and water. Later on, he became attached to Tucson Prime that he suggested to the board to make the dog the company’s mascot.
“After all, the company has always been pet friendly, so now, we decided to embrace this idea in practice too, having our own pet precisely at a more complicated time like this with so many abandoned animals,” Mariano said.
