A Sudanese passenger plane had to make an emergency landing after a cat entered its cockpit and attacked the pilot, according to 9News report.

The Tarco Aviation aircraft had taken off from Khartoum city, Sudan’s capital, bound for Doha, Qatar. Half an hour into the flight, the incident has occurred.

In a local report by Al-Sudani, the angry cat attacked the crew and when they failed to control the ferocious feline, the pilot gave up and decided to return to the capital city.

Everybody landed safely and nobody was reported hurt, but it is still unclear how the feline got into the cockpit.

An investigation by the airline found the cat might have climbed inside the aircraft while it was being cleaned or checked while parked in the hangar.
